The Approach

Most struggling projects do not need more project management. They need better project management. There is a significant difference. When a critical initiative is slipping, the instinct is to add status meetings, escalate to senior stakeholders, and produce more reporting artefacts. This almost always makes things worse. What you actually need is a rapid, surgical diagnosis of the real bottleneck — followed by targeted intervention on exactly that constraint. This engagement moves quickly. I start with an unvarnished audit of the project state, align stakeholders on a frozen scope and realistic timeline, and implement the minimum process changes needed to restore delivery momentum. The goal is not to introduce a project management framework — it is to get the project delivered.
